Our Leaders

	CUBMASTER Helps plan and carry out the pack program with the help of the Committee.  Runs the monthly pack meetings and attends the Pack Committee meetings.	Jim Tampellini cubmaster@pack7milford.org
	ASSISTANT CUBMASTER Helps the Cubmaster with his/her duties and takes the lead when the Cubmaster is unavailable.	Dwayne Schulke
	DEN LEADERS Leads the den at weekly den and monthly pack meetings.  Attends the monthly Pack Committee meetings.  Responsible for putting on den program, including encouraging boys to work together toward achievements and rank advancement.   Track and communicate to Advancement Chair all scout achievements and advancements.  Responsible for collection of dues and other fees from den families.
	COMMITTEE CHAIR Presides at all Pack Committee meetings and is responsible for preparing the agenda for those meetings.  Helps recruit adult leaders and attends the pack meetings.  Helps coordinate all Committee members so that activities run smoothly.  Maintains contact with District and Council leadership to facilitate good communication. 	ADVANCEMENT CHAIR Maintains advancement records for the pack. Orders and obtains all badges and awards.  Attends pack meetings and committee meetings on a monthly basis.  Assists Cubmaster in presentation of awards at pack meetings.	Louise Simoncini
	SECRETARY Keeps notes at Committee meetings and is responsible for following up with leaders for completion of open items.  Along with Cubmaster, maintains pack records.  Communicates information to pack families as necessary or helpful.  Attends pack and Committee meetings.  Interacts with the press, as appropriate, and prepares public communications for Cubmaster approval.  Collects signed photo release waivers.
	TREASURER Keeps track of pack funds.  Responsible for collecting dues and other fees from den leaders.  Prepares budget for program year.  Approves pack expenditures and provides reimbursement.  Tracks and replenishes the balance of the pack's account with Council.  Attends all monthly pack and Committee meetings, providing a monthly financial report to the pack leadership at Committee meetings. 	POPCORN KERNEL Coordinates the pack's participation in Council-run popcorn fundraiser from September through November.   Attends Council kick-off meeting in August to ensure the pack receives bonus and any other benefits.  Orders, picks up and distributes prizes earned.	Karen Treat
	SILENT AUCTION CHAIR Organizes silent auction, solicits donations, gathers and stores auction items, organizes items and bid sheets, create auction program.	Donna Iaffaldano
	MEMBERSHIP, RECHARTER & TRAINING CHAIR Oversees and coordinates recruiting efforts in late spring, summer and fall.  Handles and processes applications for new members.  Maintains official pack roster.  Prepares re-charter documents on-line in late October or early November to register the pack for the next calendar year.  Keeps track of leader training and reminds leaders to complete necessary coursework for their position.
	CAMPING/SUMMER ACTIVITIES CHAIR Coordinates summer activities for the pack with input from the Pack Committee.  Sets up the summer activities and tracks participation to see which scouts will obtain their summer badge.
	BLUE & GOLD CHAIR Plans and coordinates the pack's annual Blue and Gold banquet at the end of the pack's scouting year (late February) to celebrate the scouts who are crossing over to Boy Scouts.  Selects parent volunteers to assist on a B&G Committee.	Lori Cefaloni

	PINEWOOD DERBY CHAIR Plans and coordinates the pack's annual Pinewood Derby.  Selects parent volunteers to assist on a Pinewood Derby Planning Committee.  Makes arrangements with Eli Whitney Museum in Hamden in November for car building workshops in early-to-mid January and coordinates with Treasurer to arrange payment for the workshop and other expenses.
